Client: Villeroy & Boch
Timeless elegance, innovative design and outstanding quality is what the brand Villeroy & Boch has stood for since 1748.
This was another of those ‘dream’ projects for us at Studio Levien. Villeroy & Boch had realised that it was difficult for customers to buy many of their products as a gift. If you give someone a teapot they might think "where is the cup and saucer or sugar pot to go with it?" The brief for Home Elements was to design a ‘collection’ as opposed to a range of kitchen items that could be purchased individually. Free from the styling restrictions of a range, each item was designed on its own merits, some more modern, others traditional, each design connected to its past but very much of today.
